Customer Reviews

"The best onion rings I've ever had. Everything was perfect. I had the chicken tender salad with added bacon. My partner had the bacon cheese burger and fries. Portions do not disappoint. Bring your appetite. Server was lovely and had everything out piping hot. Will be recommending this spot to everyone."

"Ordered their Caribbean Jerk wings. They were good, moist, but a tad salty. Hot mama burger was 1/2lb and huge. Very moist and good toppings. Onion rings were fresh and crispy. French fries were too limp for our liking. My daughter said her kids menu cheeseburger was great. My sons kids chicken strips were really big and juicy. Only issues we had were the staff were kind of slow and the food took 30mins. Luckily it tasted good."

"Perfect Tender Burger! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with cheddar and blue cheese. The toppings were balanced & the meat was cooked to my liking (medium well) . Fries were okay, but the onion rings were crunchy and the size is great."

"Small town diner, big time flavor. There are maybe a handful of tables and a handful of booths, also a small bar to sit at. The food all looks really watched a bunch of great looking stuff come out of the window. I got the bologna sandwich and the fried green beans. The place was pretty packed when I arrived, so I know its a popular spot to go. Everyone was very friendly and the food was awesome. Would definitely stop again if passing through."

"Boy, this a gem. As a Wolverine fan passing through the area I'm so thankful to find this place. Small little bar/restaurant. Came in at lunchtime and it was packed. Sat at the bar, ordered the woody burger with fries and a side of cheeseballs. FYI, you don't need an extra side. Portions are massive. The burger was huge, full of toppings, juicy, and very good. The mustard they use is great, no ketchup needed. This comes with a mountain of fresh cut thin fries, salt and malt vinegar available. Basically fair fries and couldn't finish. could have passed onthe cheese balls, good but too much food. They guy next to me got a mountain of onion rings and they looked super legit. Based on what I ate, I can gather the rest of the menu is awesome. Cool little spot, stop in if you're in the area. Oh yeah, Go Blue! "

"An amazing little diner. The staff was so friendly, they made out of towners feel like locals. The food was amazing. It's one of the best burgers I can remember in a long, long time. Add to that a latge helping og perfectly cooked fries and, just wow. I would highly recommend Al's to anyone looking for a quick bite in a friendly diner atmosphere! Especially Ohio State fans. Go Bucks!"

- David B.

"As always good food. Only complaint was they brought the salad with the meal. At that point I don't even want a salad. Ended up switching mine to Cole slaw. Should have got the salad to go."
